To help with communications between people who might intend to attend the reunion (and related events), and/or between people who might just want to reconnect.
To provide an alternative for people who don't use Facebook (there are a lot who don't).

It's great that this website is free; however, being free, it has its limitations, like we can't insert music or video files (for free), etc., but really, so what?
FYI, it's pretty dang easy to work on this, if you want to try to make yourself a website, or if you see some typo here or some other improvement we could make...
[They (Weebly) do routinely try to get you to pay for more features, but we just ignore it.]
We can't compare this to other websites that might compete, but we have no reason to not recommend it to other potential users.
