Berkley High School - Class of 1972 - 40th Reunion
August 18, 2012
At the Embassy Suites Hotel in Livonia, Michigan
The reunion entertainment included, chronologically, specially selected 40+ year old music/videos projected at one end and scrolling photos projected at the other end, a surprise march-in performance by the current BHS Marching Band, a performance by the BHS 40th Reunion Choir, a performance by Jan (Cutlip) Krist and her husband Alan Finkbeiner, and lots of friends.
Other reunion weekend events included a group limo ride and gatherings at the Marshall Crenshaw concert at Rockin' On The Riverfront the night before the reunion, a tour of BHS on the morning of the reunion, and a picnic at Starr Park in Royal Oak the afternoon after the reunion.
FYI, there is a Facebook (FB) "Group" ("Berkley High School Reunion Class of 72") webpage.
To get there, first log-in/get-on to FB.
Then, copy and paste the following link to the FB Group page into your browser (clicking on it may work after login).

OR, once on FB, Go to the "Search' box, along the top line, and type -
"Berkley High School Reunion Class of 72"
(If that doesn't work, please Contact Us.)
.(This is left over from the 2012 Reunion and will be moved to the 2016/7-revised Home Page for this website.)
Please consider digging deep into your archives, so you can scan/send/share old pictures here on the "Photos" page, which already has pictures from the 1970 Yearbook, a few from the 1992 reunion, and others, and more can be added as people share theirs. Photos from the 2012 reunion are being added over time as they become readily available.
Also, check out the other pages of this website; the links are along the top of the page(s), including a few under "more...".
The ultimate success of this event was based on how well everyone touched base with their friends to make this the time to visit...everyone was very important in this effort because we are all linked together in pairs and groups of friends.
Click on the following to go to YouTube and see a live video from 1972, the year this classic graduating class "anthem" was released. (Because this is a free website, by clicking on it, you will be directed away from this weebly website and will have to "return" to the website to see other pages or send us your email address, etc.). The issue of this song in '72 was another reason why the Class of '72 was very lucky...besides getting the rights to vote, to not be drafted into the Army, and to drink (not necessarily in that order...).
